Morris H. Wyman passed away January 6, 2012. He was born in Malden, Massachusetts in 1929 to Rebecca and Joseph Wyman. Morrie grew up in New York City and graduated from Cornell University in 1951. Following graduation he entered the Air Force and served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer during the Korean War. Following his military service he attended The University of Michigan and graduated with an MBA. In 1955, Morrie married Mary Ann Glaub Wyman who preceded him in death in 1980. After spending eighteen years at various locations and positions with a division of Kraft Foods, he came to Indianapolis in 1974 to work for Universal Flavor Corporation. In 1982, Morrie married Glorine Wyman, who survives.

Morrie worked for Universal Flavors for twenty years retiring after holding a number of management positions. In retirement, Morrie kept busy by working part time as a cashier for Lowes Home Improvement stores and was an active member of the Castleton Kiwanis Club. Morrie was active in many church activities over the years at both St. Christopher’s Episcopal, Carmel, and The Church of the Nativity and currently served on the Vestry.

In addition to his wife Glorine, Morrie is survived by his daughter JoAnn Gotschall (Tom), son Charles Wyman (Pat), stepdaughter Lisa Larsen (Eddie) and six grandchildren. In addition, his sister Ida Wyman and his brother Ira Wyman also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 7300 Lantern Road, Indianapolis, on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM. Memorial gifts may be made to the church, no flowers please. Arrangement entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care.
